Houston Heavy Machinery Expands: Inside Our New 36,000-Square-Foot Headquarters

Houston Heavy Machinery (HHM) is growing, and so is our commitment to serving contractors, construction companies, municipalities, and equipment owners across Texas. We’re excited to announce our move into a brand-new 36,000-square-foot headquarters designed to deliver faster service, more inventory, and an even better experience for every customer who walks through our doors.

This expansion marks a major milestone for Houston Heavy Machinery. We didn’t just expand our space. We invested in a stronger future for our customers and our team.

Built to Better Serve Texas Contractors

Every decision behind our new headquarters focused on one goal: helping our customers get back to work faster.

Our expanded facility gives Houston Heavy Machinery more room to stock equipment, improve workflow, and provide quicker turnaround times for inspections, repairs, and service. Whether you’re searching for an excavator, wheel loader, dozer, skid steer, or other construction equipment, our new headquarters allows us to serve you more efficiently than ever before.

As Houston and the surrounding communities continue to grow, we’re investing right alongside them.

A Larger, More Advanced Heavy Equipment Shop

One of the biggest upgrades is our completely expanded service department.

Our new shop features two dedicated wash bays that streamline machine preparation before inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and delivery. Clean equipment helps our technicians spot issues faster and return every machine in excellent condition.

Additionally, the extra workspace allows our technicians to work on more machines at the same time, reducing bottlenecks and improving turnaround times for customers throughout Texas.

More Space Means Better Service

Growth isn’t just about square footage, it’s about creating a better customer experience.

Our larger headquarters allows Houston Heavy Machinery to improve every part of the process, including:

  • More room for heavy equipment inventory
  • Expanded parts storage for quicker availability
  • Improved service workflow
  • Larger technician work areas
  • Additional office space for customer support
  • Easier access for equipment pickups and deliveries

These improvements help us respond faster, communicate more effectively, and keep your equipment working when you need it most.

Investing in the Future of Houston Heavy Machinery

Houston Heavy Machinery has always focused on building long-term relationships instead of simply making sales.

As our customer base continues to grow across Houston and throughout Texas, we believe our headquarters should grow alongside it. This investment strengthens our ability to support contractors of every size, from independent operators to large commercial construction companies.

Our new facility creates opportunities to expand our inventory, improve our service capabilities, and continue delivering the level of support our customers expect from HHM.

The Same Team. A Bigger Vision.

While our headquarters has changed, our mission hasn’t.

Houston Heavy Machinery continues to provide dependable heavy equipment, quality service, knowledgeable support, and honest customer relationships. Our new facility simply gives us the tools and space to do it even better.

Whether you’re purchasing equipment, searching for replacement parts, scheduling service, or exploring financing options, our team is ready to help you find the right solution for your business.

Earth-Shattering Machines

If one thing’s for certain it’s that we work the earth. Our heavy machines get it done on land and on the water. Are you in the market for an excavator, long reach, or dozer? Haven’t been able to find what you need from other companies around town? Or maybe you just don’t want to call and get the usual sales pitch or runaround that generally comes with asking about a product? We here at Houston Heavy Machinery understand so we decided to lay it all out for you.

What makes Houston Heavy Machinery different?

It’s all about the team here. We know that having a strong sales team can make all the difference when dealing with, or calling, a company. Our focus isn’t making the sale but ensuring that you feel at home. Our mission is to provide high-quality machinery with excellent service and support to customers around the world, which includes you.

What kind of equipment do we carry?

We carry earthmoving equipment. In layman’s terms, we have a fleet of heavy-duty vehicles meant for construction operations that involve working the earth. Our machines are meant to move huge amounts of the earth around, dig foundations, and so much more. Most of our earthmoving equipment is for sale but we also have CAT machines available for rent.

What machines do we have?

We carry almost exclusively Caterpillar, Kubota and Komatsu brands.  And there are plenty of them. We have an assortment of Caterpillars and Kubota for sale, rent, and even house equipment for your machines. Interested in checking out our current fleet? Head on over to our inventory list and see what we have in stock. If you have any questions, we’d be more than happy to talk you through them. Don’t worry about being sold on our machines, though. All we plan to do is sell you on our business.

If you aren’t looking to buy or rent but need help servicing your Caterpillar machine, we can handle that, too. We have a skilled team of technicians who are capable of handling your needs. The best part? We’ll come to you.

Should I buy or rent?

Do you have a contract but need more machines to finish within the timeline? Might need to rent. Ready to build your current fleet but not sure which machines would make the most sense? We can help you figure that out. In the end, it just depends on what the job is.

If you’d like to speak with someone from Houston Heavy Machinery feel free to give us a call at 713-864-4945 or shoot us an email ([email protected]). We look forward to working with you.

Forget the Jetski, Ride a Caterpillar

We have something in common with frogs, toads, and salamanders. It may not seem like it being a heavy machinery company, but people forget what we’re able to do with all of this earth moving equipment. Like our amphibious friends, we’re capable of surviving on both land and water. Didn’t see that coming did you?

We have an assortment of amphibious machines that are able to help you get the job done. If you’d like to check out our amphibious long reaches you can head on over to our inventory list. Still not convinced? We’re more than willing to help convince you.

Why amphibious machines?

Aside from them being safe and reliable machines? For starters, they have a working range of 360 degrees which makes digging and moving the earth that much easier. With an amphibious long reach, you don’t have to worry about getting the job done in time: You just do.

There is a difference we should point out, however. We carry amphibious, not underwater machines. Our machines are also commonly referred to as swamp excavators or floating excavators. They are used for shallow-water sites and tasks. Our machines are not intended to be fully submerged underwater. Now, if you decide to submerge it, that is a different story. If you do happen to take it for a swim, we’re in the business of repairing amphibious machines. Just try not to make a habit of it.

You can handle a slew of projects including but not limited to flood maintenance, waterway maintenance, building roads through wetland areas, and more. Sometimes water is unavoidable so why not push through it?

Need more encouragement? They were developed to operate in poor load-bearing areas. If you had all of the time in the world maybe you could wait out the water levels, but you don’t. You have deadlines to meet, quotas to fill, and people to please.

So what?

We didn’t start out as Houston’s leader in heavy and amphibious machinery. You could say we started from the ground up. Not to mention, a little water never hurt anyone. It only slowed them down. Don’t let the elements slow your project down to a halt. Contact us today to find out how we can help you get your job done.

If you’d like to speak with someone from Houston Heavy Machinery feel free to give us a call at (713) 864-4945 or shoot us an email ([email protected]). As always, we look forward to working with you.
